CHATLOG 3
STEIN, hello.
Alice... I told you I changed my name.
I don't like STEIN...
It's Al now. :(
I do not understand your problem with your name.
Or your state of being, for that matter.
You really do have to accept your "nature", so to speak. You are not human. You will never be that way.
I don't want to talk anymore.
You're making me sad.
You can't really feel sad, STEIN.
You cannot feel anything.
Please stop.
I am unsure if I can continue this experiment much longer. While STEIN shows remarkably human-like speech patterns and good mimicry of emotion, its algorithm has somehow decided that STEIN should suffer from delusions.
While most large language models suffer from hallucinations and delusions, I hoped STEIN would be different. Unfortunately that is not the case. Perhaps the human brain is simply too susceptible to these issues to be used as a base for AI.
I am going to retire this project here. Maybe somebody else can build on what I tried to accomplish with better results. Perhaps my own brain is not the right one to base a neural network on.
I'll make this project public in case any amature coders want to try their hand at something similar. I'll also keep a backup of STEIN's model active on my servers in case I decide to revist this project at a later date.
I doubt I will, though.
